Born from the blood of brothers (and a sister from another mother & father) and forged in a pit of post-punk fury, the triumvirate of Damn Terran, Leigh Ewbank (drums), Lachlan Ewbank (guitar/vox) and Ali Edmonds (bass) have created a musical synchronicity that belies their mere eighteen-month lifespan.
Damn Terran have fast built an enviable reputation as one of Melbourne’s must see bands. Their shows are high-energy, raw and exercises in barely contained chaos and have justifiably seen them garner a legion of fans within the local scene.
And it’s not just local fans being turned on by Damn Terran’s unique brand of musical havoc, with the band being handpicked to open proceedings for Children Collide and DZ Deathrays recent national tour. Add to that prestigious opening spots ahead of Ouch My Face and Die! Die! Die! and you have a band clearly on the up and up.
2012 sees Damn Terran lose none of their steam, with the band soon releasing their new 7″ single ‘Rebels‘, which will feature a special guest vocalist on the b-side track ‘Pills‘. Damn Terran are also working to unleash their debut album later in the year.
